Our next event is on Friday, January 26 at 11am. We will be hosting Dr. Maaz Gardezi from Virginia Tech for his talk, “Responsible Innovation for Climate-Smart Agriculture: Lessons from the U.S and remote mountain communities of Pakistan.” The talk will be hosted at MSU in Communication Arts & Sciences 191, with a hybrid option. The talk is co-sponsored by the Quello Center and the Department of Media & Information. RSVP here.
The Rural Computing Research Consortium, founded in 2021, is a group of faculty and students who are interested in advancing research and outreach related to computing, broadly construed, in rural communities. We represent many departments across four colleges at Michigan State University. Visit our About page to learn more about our vision for rural computing and People page to learn more about our Affiliates. If you are interested in getting involved, please take a look at the Events page for upcoming events, or reach out to our Director.
